This end table could be configured in a variety of locations in the home. We have positioned it next to the couch. It has fairly deep drawer where you can conceal things like coffee coasters, remotes, daily text, etc...
It also has a shelf underneath for books. We have used this area to put our borrowed library books. It's good to put library books in a very visible place so that you don't lose them. Losing library books may incur the wrath of a librarian and nothing makes a librarian more angry than staring into the face of someone with overdue books.
Well, actually there is one thing that makes them angrier and that is if you walk into the library five minutes before it closes. Have you ever done that? Wow, their eyes nearly shoot lasers.
